WINTER 2008

Valentine’s Day:  Seal it with Lipstick Kisses

By Jilly Eddy, Guest Writer

Valentine’s Day is a day of romance and remembering our loved ones. Whether you’re mailing a card or celebrating with others at a gala party or a private one with your family, or that one special someone, don’t forget about hugs and kisses and lip print giving and receiving.

Red roses and cards of cupids and hearts, lots of chocolate and diamonds are nice, but there is something sweet and sentimental about sharing your lip prints with another. They don’t cost anything, last forever, and bring back lovely memories when looked at later. And besides the intrinsic value there is a wealth of knowledge revealed by reading a person’s lip prints.

Lip Prints are wonderful to receive whether in person or in a letter or card. They can be given by children to their parents or grandparents, or sent by loved ones to soldiers stationed away from home. To make your lip prints, sit down with one or several different colors of lipstick; bright red, pink, purple, even blue. Apply the lipstick and press your lips to a card or white paper. Don’t be stingy with your kisses, do at least 2 or three, be sure and print your name, so we know for sure who’s lips they are. There is no right or wrong way to do them. They can be random kisses or an artistic creation.

If  you want to learn more about what your loved one’s lip prints reveal about their personality and energy levels you can hire a  professional lip print reader for private readings or a party. For a party they bring everything that is needed for your guests to make their lip prints and then they share what the person’s lip prints have to say about them and to them. Two major marks to watch for, especially during Valentine’s Day, are the “Gourmet Lip Split” and the “Hug Pucker.”

The Gourmet Lip Split is located in the middle of the lower lip on the inside edge and looks like a “V”. This mark says this person is very sentimental, romantic and not a cheap date. Also, remembering Valentine’s Day is very important to them!

The hug pucker is a protrusion located in the middle of the upper lip on the inside edge and when extreme looks like a little hot dog. A slight one says the person is a teddy bear hugger and very openly affectionate. An extreme one says the person needs lots more hugs and kisses!

Another mark to watch for is light, washed out faded coloring, this indicates your Valentine is tired and would appreciate a relaxing spa holiday or at least breakfast in bed.

Remember you don’t have to know how to read the lip prints, just giving them is an excellent way to say “I love you.” And the most important thing is you will be giving a beautiful memory for your loved ones when you SWAK!
